Leading up to <em><a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2893212/wwe-spoilers-two-new-wrestlemania-32-title-matches-confirmed-during-tonights-smackdown-taping/" target="_blank">WrestleMania 32</a></em>, there have been a number of big surprises from WWE. Some of them have been huge, such as the return of <a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2825469/wwe-rumors-shane-mcmahons-return-bringing-back-pg-13-attitude-era-version-of-wwe/" target="_blank">Shane McMahon</a>
and the debut of Sami Zayn, while others have slid under the radar as
smaller occurrences. With two weeks remaining until the huge
Pay-Per-View on April 3, it looks as if WWE isn’t done and there is
going to be at least one more big surprise coming fans’ way.<br />
Now, it’s not entirely known what this surprise will be or when it is going to happen, but it appears as if <a class="external" href="http://www.cagesideseats.com/2016/3/19/11266560/rumor-roundup-wwe-surprise-wrestlemania-32-plans-nxt-takeover-dallas-issues-mick-foley" target="_blank">something</a> is coming as <em>Cageside Seats</em> reports.<br />
<blockquote class="pullquote">
“Apparently WWE has at least one more big surprise planned before <em>WrestleMania 32</em>.”</blockquote>
The biggest surprise, by far, is the return of Shane McMahon to WWE
as he has been absent from television since 2010. Seeing him come back
was a huge shock, and no one thought that he would show up on <em>Monday Night Raw</em> a couple weeks ago.<br />

If Shane is able to pull out the victory, he will gain control of <em>Monday Night Raw</em>, which is said to be him taking control of WWE.
Since then, there are a number of rumors and fantasy scenarios that
have popped up. Some think that Shane-O Mac is bringing in a mercenary
to fight his battle for him, and the names of <a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2821574/wwe-rumors-shane-mcmahon-bringing-in-goldberg-to-face-the-undertaker-at-wrestlemania-32/" target="_blank">Bill Goldberg</a> and <a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2886187/wwe-rumors-shane-mcmahon-bringing-in-cm-punk-to-face-the-undertaker-at-wrestlemania-32/" target="_blank">CM Punk</a> have come out of nowhere, but there is nothing behind them.<br />
The next week, there was yet another surprise and it was the re-debut of Sami Zayn on the main roster of WWE.<br />
image: http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/sami-zayn-return-nxt-wwe-rumors.jpg<br />
<img alt="sami zayn return nxt wwe rumors" class="size-medium wp-image-2904329 aligncenter" data-lazy-loaded="true" height="365" src="http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/sami-zayn-return-nxt-wwe-rumors.jpg" style="display: inline;" width="650" />
Zayn had wrestled on the main roster before as he took on John Cena,
and it ended up leading to an injury that took him out of action for
months. Now, he’s made his full-time main roster debut and is getting
right into a program with Kevin Owens for the <a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2889749/wwe-rumors-updated-card-for-wrestlemania-32-and-rumored-matches-six-confirmed-multi-man-ladder-title-match-takes-a-hit/" target="_blank">Intercontinental Title</a>.<br />
Around the same time, <a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2862768/wwe-rumors-hall-of-famer-returning-on-monday-night-raw-to-set-up-wrestlemania-32-angle/" target="_blank">Mick Foley</a>
made a return to WWE and it wasn’t just for a cheap reason. He actually
got involved in a big-time feud going on between Dean Ambrose and Brock
Lesnar as they head to their No Holds Barred Street Fight at <em>WrestleMania 32</em>.<br />
<em>Sportsrageous</em> reported that Mick Foley was going to make a huge <a class="external" href="http://www.sportsrageous.com/entertainment/wwe-raw-set-surprise-new-wrestlemania-32-angle-cards-mick-foley-return/10266/" target="_blank">announcement</a> of some kind. While he did sort of “pass the torch” to Ambrose, there could be something bigger coming.<br />
<figure class="wp-caption aligncenter" id="attachment_2904348" style="width: 670px;">image: http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/wwe-rumors-wrestlemania-32-shawn-michaels-referee-670x384.jpg<br />
<img alt="wwe rumors wrestlemania 32 surprise shane mcmahon mick foley sami zayn" class="size-medium wp-image-2904348" data-lazy-loaded="true" height="384" src="http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/wwe-rumors-wrestlemania-32-shawn-michaels-referee-670x384.jpg" style="display: inline;" width="670" /><figcaption class="wp-caption-text">[Image via WWE]</figcaption></figure>As reported earlier by <em>Inquisitr</em>, there are a number of <a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2895731/wwe-rumors-wrestlemania-32-roles-for-wwe-legends-now-set-numerous-former-wwe-talents-to-appear/" target="_blank">big-time legends</a> that will be appearing at <em>WrestleMania 32</em>
and their roles may now be known. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The
Rock will likely have roles that are fun, but not entirely affecting
storylines.
Now, Shawn Michaels may end up having a bigger role than either of
those two legends. No, he won’t be wrestling, but he could take part in
the main event. Rumors have had him landing as the special guest referee
for the WWE World Heavyweight Title Match between Triple H and Roman
Reigns.<br />
That’s not confirmed yet, but it is a very good possibility for what this new surprise could end up being.<br />
AJ Styles has debuted. Shinsuke Nakamura will make his company debut at <em><a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2902257/wwe-rumors-big-time-executive-gets-heat-from-triple-h-for-disrespecting-nxt/" target="_blank">NXT Takeover: Dallas</a></em>. Perhaps the former Bullet Club members, <a href="http://www.inquisitr.com/2812394/wwe-rumors-former-njpw-star-confirms-he-is-heading-to-wwe-will-another-star-follow/" target="_blank">Karl Anderson</a> and Doc Gallows will show up, but they’re not supposed to arrive on the scene until after <em>WrestleMania</em>.<br />
Vince McMahon and WWE want <em>WrestleMania 32</em> to be absolutely
huge, but some big injuries over the past couple of months have hindered
the original setup. Plans are still in place for a gigantic event, but
names from the past, debuts, and surprises are needed. Rumor has it more
are coming.<br />

<h2>
Dolph Ziggler</h2>
Shane Shoemaker wrote a new blog for CSRWrestling.com on why Dolph
Ziggler not having a WrestleMania match is OK. Here’s a sample:<br />
I believe Dolph will still have a match at WrestleMania, but there’s very good reason why he shouldn’t.<br />
Since Shane McMahon returned and vowed to change RAW, he mentioned
such things as pushing new stars and those that had been kept from being
elevated. The first person that came to mind was the Internet darling
himself, Dolph Ziggler.<br />
For years, in a far, far second behind Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler
has been the IWC’s favorite wrestler to complain about in regards to his
placement on the roster. He’s been pushed, de-pushed — as Jim Ross has
stated before, “He’s had more false starts than the Oakland Raiders.”
Although I’m not sure how much that statement holds true now in regards
to the team in city on the bad side of the bay.<br />
For the past two weeks on RAW, Dolph has been given some significant
TV time and in particular given attention by The Authority. Whether his
tweet that he was asked to delete was a work or shoot is moot at this
point, but it should be noted that Dolph has been given some
significance again, even if fans don’t think he has.<br />
For starters, Triple H made Dolph look like a million bucks on Monday
night. But I think the whole point was that Dolph didn’t have to win
and that maybe there’s a bigger part of the story on why he didn’t win,
besides Triple H merely being the reigning WWE champion.<br />
